Seeking Buddy Families for New Families & Open House Volunteers

• The Admission Office is seeking families interested in being buddy families to new Fletcher Falcon families in 2024-2025.  

• We would also love to hear from parents who are interested in helping with 2024-2025 Admission Open Houses.

Parents' Council Spirit Night with the Charlotte Knights - Saturday, May 18 

• You are invited to join The Fletcher School for a night out at the ballpark on Saturday, May 18, when the Charlotte Knights host the Durham Bulls at 6:05 pm.

Athletics News

• Monday, May 20 - Athletic Awards Ceremony from 7-8:30 pm in the Gymnasium. Semi-casual attire.

• Congratulations to Middle School Tennis and Middle School Golf for earning first place for the season in the CGAA.

• Congratulations to Middle School Golf for winning the CGAA tournament. Seventh graders Max I. and Kip L. were also awarded All-Conference Team honors.

• Congratulations to Kip L. for earning All-Conference for the Varsity Golf Tournament.

EdTech News

• As the year is winding down, please check your students’ devices for defects—for example, missing keys, damaged screens, and missing and/or damaged accessories. As we model best practices for not eating or drinking around our devices, ensure your students keep food and liquids away. If your device is excessively dirty please review these directions for cleaning the device:

  • iPads

• As a reminder, the MacBooks or iPads issued to Fletcher students are for educational purposes only and are not to be used for gaming or any noninstructional purposes. As always, if you have any questions, please email edtech@thefletcherschool.org.

College Counseling News

• Congratulations to senior Lizzie P. on being awarded the Tepper Scholarship at the University of South Carolina.

• The ACT will be administered at The Fletcher School on Monday and Tuesday, June 10 and 11.   

  • The deadline to register for this test is Friday, May 3. To register, please log in to your MyACT.org account.

Fletcher Car Stickers and Magnets

• Show your Fletcher spirit by adding a free Fletcher sticker to your car.

• If you prefer a Fletcher car magnet, just pay $3 in cash.
