Lunch Orders and Dining Options 2022-2023
The August and September lunch menus are now available in your FACTS Family Portal.
Orders are due on Thursdays for the upcoming week.
When ordering lunch, consider adding your child's after-school drink and snack, too.

Medication Authorizations
Medications, including over-the-counter, cannot be administered at school, on field trips, or overnight trips until the Medication Authorization Form & medications are delivered to the School Nurse.
Please email nurse@thefletcherschool.org to set up a medication drop-off time.
Medication Authorization Forms are only valid for the current school year and should be submitted at the beginning of the year.
Students with emergency medication must turn in a Medication Authorization Form and an action plan.

Physical Examination/Health History
All new students and all sixth grade students are required to submit this form to Carrie Baker, School Nurse.
All Grades 6-12 Athletes are required to have a current physical assessment form on file prior to the first day of practice.

Carpool Directions

Morning drop-off is 7:55 - 8:15 am
Students arriving after 8:15 am are tardy and must have parents sign them in at the Front Desk.
Students must wait in their cars until a faculty/staff member gives them a signal to get out.
K-5 students are dismissed at 2:30 pm
6-12 students are dismissed at 3:00 pm
Parents who are picking up at the 3:00 pm carpool should not arrive on campus before 2:45 pm
Please display your carpool tag from your rear-view mirror as opposed to resting it on the dashboard.
Save the date on SAT, SEP 17 from 4-6 pm for a celebration at The Fletcher School honoring our 40th anniversary.
More details to follow!
The 40th Anniversary Celebration is for adults.
Students will have a celebration on campus as well.
Parents' Council Updates
Parents' Council Welcome and Membership
The Parents’ Council extends a warm welcome to all new and returning families to Fletcher.
There are a lot of events planned for the school year and the Parents' Council would love each family to join for an annual $60 Membership Fee to help offset the costs of our events.

Lower School Parent/Guardian Coffee
Lower School Parent and Guardian Coffee will be WED, SEPT 14 8:00 - 9:30 am in the Fletcher Courtyard. If raining, the group will meet in the Rankin Room same date/time.
All Lower School parents are welcome to come to have a cup of coffee and meet new parents and catch up with acquaintances.

Flags of Remembrance Field Trip
Eighth grade students are going to Romare Bearden Park on FRI, SEPT 9 from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in the Flags of Remembrance Ceremony (link is from last year as it has not been updated yet).

Educational Technology
The Educational Technology team is excited to launch an updated Responsible Use Policy (RUP) this year. The goal is to provide a positive approach to digital citizenship and clearly set expectations for technology use at school and on school-owned devices. A team of teachers from across the school worked together to develop this new policy. Below you will find a broad overview of the Student Technology Agreement.
