The Academic Writing Course is a fundamental component of our program, crucial for students across all disciplines, including STEM. By mastering these skills, STEM students enhance their ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, a key aspect of success in any scientific or technical field. 

The course begins with an introduction to the essentials of academic writing, teaching students to understand their audience and craft clear, logical arguments. Research skills are a focal point, with students learning to conduct thorough research, identify credible sources, and incorporate these effectively into their writing. The importance of ethical writing is underscored through in-depth discussions on plagiarism and citation practices, instilling a sense of academic integrity.

In this discussion on college applications, we'll provide a comprehensive overview of navigating the application process to various types of colleges. We'll cover key factors in choosing a university, including location, safety, and political climate, along with practical considerations like expenses and visas. In our International Law lesson, we will explore the theoretical foundations of international legal systems. The lesson will begin with the basic definitions of key legal concepts, including treaties. In our psychoanalysis session, Filip Latković will guide you through the intriguing theories of Jacques Lacan, exploring his major concepts and their influence on modern psychoanalysis. The session will start with an introduction to Lacan’s "mirror stage" and its impact on ego formation. Participants will delve into the concept of "jouissance" and its role beyond traditional pleasure, gaining insights into Lacan’s Register Theory, which includes the Real, Imaginary, and Symbolic domains. In our session on aerospace engineering, Eszter Anna Varga, a pioneer in this field and one of the first Hungarian women to earn a degree in aerospace engineering, will lead us through an engaging and informative journey.
