Login to SORA using your DOE username and password. You will be able to check out a wide variety of books. Graphic novels, magazines, and special collections are all available here!
Welcome to the Fairmont Neighborhood School Library Media Center!
Our beautiful library is a place for students to make time in their day to read and to challenge themselves through new educational experiences. During library time, students will enjoy read-alouds, discuss stories, conduct research and learn more about topics that interest them. They also have the opportunity to check-out books to read at home during the week.
Our library is also a resource for families. The library is open to our school community during select afterschool and weekend hours. The library also hosts various educational workshops for families and caregivers. We encourage you to check out our Upcoming Events page for information on these events!

Nuestra hermosa biblioteca es un lugar para que los estudiantes hagan tiempo en su día para leer y desafiarse a sí mismos a través de nuevas experiencias educativas. Durante el tiempo que pasan en la biblioteca, los alumnos escuchan libros, investigan y aprenden más sobre los temas que les interesan. También tienen la oportunidad de sacar libros para leer en casa durante la semana.
Nuestra biblioteca es también un recurso para las familias. La biblioteca está abierta a la comunidad escolar en determinados horarios extraescolares y fines de semana. Notre belle bibliothèque est un endroit où les élèves peuvent consacrer du temps à la lecture et se lancer de nouveaux défis éducatifs. Pendant les heures de bibliothèque, les élèves écoutent des livres, font des recherches et en apprennent davantage sur des sujets qui les intéressent. Ils ont également la possibilité d'emprunter des livres pour les lire à la maison pendant la semaine.
Notre bibliothèque est également une ressource pour les familles. La bibliothèque est ouverte à la communauté scolaire pendant certaines heures après l'école et le week-end. La bibliothèque organise également divers ateliers éducatifs à l'intention des familles.
