for all Section 504 needs
Section 504 is a part of The Rehabilitation Act of 1973 that prohibits discrimination based on disability. Section 504 is a federal anti-discrimination, civil rights statute that requires the needs of students with disabilities to be met as adequately as the needs of their non-disabled peers.
Your child may be eligible for health services, educational accommodations, or both.
Health services are for students who need to take medicine (like insulin) or receive a special health plan at school.
Educational accommodations are for students who need building, classroom or testing accommodations so that the child with a disability has an equal access to education.
If you believe that your child would qualify under Section 504, please complete and return the below forms to the Student Services Coordinator via email, in person, by snail mail, or via fax at (919) 245-8460.
