When school doors close for the summer, many families require more food access throughout the days and nights. In addition to programs and partnerships already in place, the CCC Community Development Corporation, alongside The Christian Church of Chester family, is stepping into the gap to ensure no child or family in our community goes hungry during these months.
We are standardizing our pantry staples to provide kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare, nutritious meals that support families. Will you help us stock the shelves?

Building, Feeding, and Uplifting Chester
At the CCC Community Development Corporation, we believe a thriving community is built through practical action and shared dignity. Inspired by the life and legacy of William R. Cobb, "The General," our mission is to empower the residents of Chester by addressing both immediate needs and long-term growth.
In this season, we've met the mission through these vital pillars:
Nourishing the Present: Through our Community Food Pantry, we fight food insecurity head-on. We ensure that local families have access to fresh, nutritious food, serving our neighbors with the same warmth and hospitality that "The General" brought to his own backyard grills.
Building the Future: We invest heavily in economic empowerment by creating pathways into the Skilled Trades and Human Services. By providing scholarships, mentorship, and training, we help the next generation master sustainable crafts to build strong careers.
Together, we believe that community care begins with service. Whether we are filling a pantry shelf or funding a student's toolset, we are dedicated to strengthening Chester from the ground up—ensuring no one stands in the dark, and no one goes hungry.
