Whether you’re a seasoned leader or leading for the first time, these four skills will help you lead a meaningful, Gospel Centered discussion.
Use Your Voice – Lead with confidence, relying on the Holy Spirit, your knowledge of Scripture, and your story to point students to the hope of the gospel.
Be Honest – If you don’t know the answer to a tough question, admit it. Say, “I don’t know, but I’ll find out,” showing both humility and a commitment to learn.
Guide Back to the Gospel – If the conversation gets off-track or inappropriate, step in and redirect it toward Christ-centered truth.
Prepare Your Heart – Take time during the week to review the curriculum, pray, and engage with recommended resources so you’re ready to lead well.
Open Your Home, Open Your Heart. Imagine your living room becoming the place where students feel welcomed, loved, and pointed to Jesus. As a Host, you get to transform your home into a space where faith grows, friendships deepen, and the gospel comes alive. This is your chance to show Christ’s hospitality in a simple yet powerful way—and to make an eternal impact in the lives of students!
Create a Cozy Space – Set up a common area where students can sit in a circle and feel at home.
Add Some Snacks – A little food goes a long way in making everyone feel welcome.
Kick Off with Fun – Spend the first 10 minutes playing an icebreaker to get students laughing and connecting.
Set the Tone with Teaching – Stream Bible Study with Mark on a smart TV, computer, or tablet and turn the space where you gather into a place where God’s Word comes alive.
Lead the Conversation – Use the Lead-In, Main Event, and Last Word questions to guide students through meaningful discussion.
Finish in Prayer – Gather prayer requests and pray for students, showing them the love and care of Christ.
We’re bringing all our Bible Studies together at their campus for one incredible night you won’t want to miss!
Come ready to laugh, connect, and experience the love of Jesus!
