Gabriel's Art Bonanza

These works all reflect my investigation of working off of preexisting ideas. Where to me each piece of art work is almost like a piece of me. With each project came a wide vareity of different challenges however, a common theme implemented was creating something not soley just to create. With my "Meaningful Skull" and "Tear Drop In My Eyes" a common ground of health was interpreted, overall I chose to group these together to display how there is so much about health, how there are so many aspects and levels to it. I hope that when viewing these bodies of work that viewers will recognize and discren on the meaning behind the piece rather then just looking at it. These pices of works are intended to probe the viewer to ask how important is creativity? Where without creativity there can be nothing, even the simplest of things require creativity. In addition to this, I woudl hope that the viewers may recognize how significant their creativity is and want to make some sort of boost come from looking at these pieces.

"Humble Abode" 25cmx25xm

I never lost interest with this piece which was definitely a first for me, as I am usually creating just to create rather than creating with purpose. Beyond experimenting with new materials like paint, representing my inspirations’ values within my piece was important. The idea of representing an abstract jail from Haley and beautiful lancape from Lushpin was taken into perspective. Where the idea for my piece is that it is represents both freedom and constraintment.

"Meaningful Skull" 25cmx25xm

C215 has been making road craftsmanship for around 20 years. His whole spotlight lies on making representations for people, for example, seniors, poor person kids, exiles and others depends on the longing to present and cause to notice those we frequently neglect to perceive throughout everyday life. Frequently, he discovers motivation by zeroing in on face pictures of arbitrary individuals he meets openly. Guémy's little girl Nina is additionally a mainstream subject of his stencil craftsmanship. This is where my inspiration stemmed from where my piece also focuses on representations of people.

"Tear Drops In My Eyes" 25cmx25xm

The drawing should evoke a sensation of comfort and similarity rather than what first meets the eye which in short is teardrops and blank faces. What the audience may else not see is that the use of materials is quite significant, the use of sharpie creates the theme of permanence and the colored pencils balance it out with a happiness factor. In addition to this, the last theme generated from this piece displays that you are more similar than different. As the choice of materials shows quite the contrast but is still just two drawing utensils. Just like the people in the drawing as they all experience sadness yet aren’t aware that they aren’t the only ones.

"Meaningful Skull 2" 25cmx25xm

I wanted to build off the idea of mental health and how it has many implications and perspectives attached to it.
