Our Mission: To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Purpose
To Promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, places of worship, and throughout the community;
To raise the standards of home life;
To advocate for laws that further the education, physical and mental health, welfare, and safety of children and youth;
To promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth;
To engage the public in united efforts to secure the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social well-being of all children and youth; and
To advocate for fiscal responsibility regarding public tax dollars in public education funding.

TXPTA Reflections Program:
Through the efforts of our Local PTAs, millions of students have found a creative outlet in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.With positive recognition as the focus of this program, rather than competition, students of all ages and abilities can experience the benefits of creative expression and help in finding their own voice in telling their unique story.Started in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, then Colorado PTA President, Reflections has grown to be one of the largest nationwide programs of its kind, with more than 200,000 students participating annually.SEPT 4 & 7- Student Holiday (Labor Day)
