Thank you to everyone who has recently shared feedback about our weekly newsletters. We have listened carefully and, in response, will be returning to our previous format this week to ensure information is clearer and easier for families to follow. 

It has been a busy and enjoyable week in school: we proudly supported Children in Need Day, with pupils taking part in a range of fundraising activities to raise money for this important cause. Our Year 4 pupils had a fantastic time at their disco, and a group of pupils represented Bedonwell brilliantly at a netball event. Year 1 also enjoyed a visit to the library, exploring new books and fostering a love of reading. In addition, our Year 6 boys’ football team kicked off their league campaign with great enthusiasm and team spirit. We are proud of all the children who took part in these events and look forward to more exciting opportunities ahead.

It is really important for all children to drink water throughout the day, which is why children need to bring a water bottle into school. However, can we please ask that children only bring in either a disposable plastic or re-usable plastic water bottle. 

Some children are bringing in large metal water bottles which when knocked over can cause disruption in the class. 

Please can we also ask that Airup water bottles are not brought into school, these are expensive and can sometimes be knocked over in a busy classroom and damaged or broken.
