Duncan Lang is a multidisciplinary artist from Newmarket, Ontario, and is thrilled to be making his Directorial debut with Theatre Orangeville! Most recently coming hot off the Canadian premiere of Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical (Mansfield Entertainment), audiences may remember Duncan from Young Company’s past, playing Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, and Archibald in The Secret Garden (Theatre Orangeville). More recently, he also made his Toronto debut in Merrily We Roll Along as Frank (Shifting Ground Collective).
Ian Walsh of Blackthorn Productions is very excited to be returning as Fight Director for the TOV Young Company production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe with a fantastic group of performers. He is also very pleased to be working along side Duncan Lang whom he has choreographed many fights for. Blackthorn Productions specializes in education and entertainment with a focus on medieval history for grade fours and stage combat for high school drama classes.
This is Susan’s second production with Theatre Orangeville. She is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Performing Arts - Prep program and will be studying theatre production at Humber College in the fall. Previous credits include: Into the Woods (Paris Performers’ Theatre), Little Heaven (Penny & Pound Productions), Beauty and the Beast, Anne of Green Gables, Anastasia: The Musical (Playful Fox Productions) and most recently, Mean Girls (Theatre Orangeville). Susan would like to thank everyone who has supported her in her journey as an emerging arts worker, and to thank YOU for supporting TOV’s Young Company!
Avary is excited to be playing Mrs. Beaver in Theatre Orangeville Young Company’s production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. This is Avary’s fifth Young Company show. Her past shows include: She Kills Monsters (Narrator), The Addams Family (Grandma), Puffs (Ernie Mac), and she recently was seen in Mean Girls (Karen). Avary would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support. Enjoy the show!
Kevin is so excited to be playing Aslan in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe! Kevin is a grade 11 student at Westside Secondary School and has been doing Theatre for years. He most recently played Damian in Theatre Orangeville’s production of Mean Girls and Wayne in Theatre Orangeville’s production of Puffs. Kevin would like to thank his artistic team and cast for an amazing experience!
Kayla has been an aspiring actor from the ripe age of seven when she first watched the 1978 musical Grease. She has since then joined the arts of dance and theatre. Kayla jumped into action in 2020 with AOPA in a musical theatre dance number, since then she has been in one on-stage production with Theatre Orangeville in the summer of 2023. Kayla is overly excited to have the opportunity to be apart of this years cast and production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
Lucas is thrilled to be an apart of the Young Company again this year. Lucas trains with Leblanc School of Acting. And TriTone Music Studio for vocals. He would like to thank his cast, crew and volunteers for making this such an amazing production and hope everyone enjoys the show.
Simon is very excited and grateful to be in Young Company's The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. They are enjoying being back in the theatre since their last performance in Shrek the Musical Jr for Alton Public School. They are very grateful to their mom and dad for caring for them for their whole life and driving them every day and to their sixth grade teacher Ms. Moore for getting them into theatre.
Payne Power is 13 years old and is very excited to be playing Mr Tumnus. In some of the past shows Payne has played Pugsley Addams (The Addams Family) Shrek (Shrek The Musical Jr) Skipper (Madagascar Jr) and Lola (Dear Edwina). Payne would like to say a big thanks to her family, friends and also the amazing cast and crew for all their support.
Liam has been doing Young Company for three years now and has been involved with the theatre for much longer. He first got interested when he saw a Young Company's production of Clue then he joined them the next year. He is interested in art and is looking to have a career in coding. Liam enjoys playing D&D and Magic: The Gathering along with many video games, his favorite being Hollow Knight.
Dylan is thrilled to be playing the role of the Centaur and Elf. The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is his first show with Theatre Orangeville’s Young Company and he is so happy he is a part of this amazing show. His most recent role was as Coach Bolton from High School Musical Jr. (OMT). Dylan is thankful for the creative team and his cast-mates for making his first show such an awesome experience.
William Jack Stewart is an 18-year-old actor. He enjoys video games, tabletop games, Lego, TV shows and movies both new and old. Jack has always been a fan of comedy and acting, getting his start at Theatre Orangeville in the 2018 Young Company production of Robin Hood. Jack is incredibly excited to be playing Edmund Pevensie in the wonderful world of Narnia for his sixth and final show with the Young Company.
Madeline is excited to be back for her third year with Theatre Orangeville’s Young Company. She has previously played Steve and Farrah in the company’s production of She Kills Monsters (2022), and Cedric and Mr. Voldy in the company’s production of Puffs (2023). She is very grateful for every person who has worked incredibly hard to make this a fantastic show and is having an amazing experience overall. She sincerely hopes you enjoy the show as much as she enjoys performing it.
Sarah is thrilled to be back on stage in this production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Some of her favourite roles include young Cosette in Mayfield Secondary School’s Les Miserables, Esther Jane in Theatre Orangeville’s A Christmas Story and Tilly in Theatre Orangeville’s She Kills Monsters. Sarah also plays the flute at ODSS, where she is in grade 10. Her free time is spent at the pool, training with the Orangeville Otters.
Sophie is excited to play Susan in Theatre Orangeville’s Young Company production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. This is Sophie’s eighth Young Company production. Some of her favourite shows include: She Kills Monsters (Vera), The Addams Family (Wednesday), Puffs (Megan), and Mean Girls (Cady). Sophie would like to thank her cast and artistic team for all their help and support.
Beckie has been part of Theatre Orangeville family for 16 years. Working as a Scenic Designer and Production Manager offer completely different creative opportunities and Beckie is grateful to be surrounded by such a skilled and dedicated team, who are always up to tackling the daily challenges that make working in live professional theatre so exciting. Her recent designs have been seen at Lighthouse Festival Theatre, The Capitol Theatre, Victoria Playhouse PEI and of course, at Theatre Orangeville, her home stage.
Lisa is a Technical Director, Creator and Educator. From carpentry, to scenic art, to wardrobe, if there is something that needs doing, she’ll get it done (even if she doesn’t know how to yet). Lisa is also the Artistic Coordinator of Theatre Orangeville’s Summer Arts Fest, bringing in diverse and engaging programming to the community. Beyond her love for her craft, Lisa is most passionate about education and mentorship in the arts. Currently teaching at York University, she is humbled by the work of emerging artists and inspired by the next generation of creators.
Lyss is a multi-disciplinary theatre artist interested in all things production. She is a recent graduate of the Dramatic Arts Bachelor program at Brock University. Post graduation she is excited to be back home and starting her first season with Theatre Orangeville and continue to learn. Some recent credits include: The Addams Family (Stage Manager, Theatre Orangeville), Welcome Home (Director & Lighting Designer, Laser Shark Productions), and A Vampire Story (Stage Manager, Brock University).
Having previously built all four barn yard animals for The Last Christmas Turkey and envisioning the gothic goodness of The Addams Family for Theatre Orangeville’s Young Company, as well as the fairytale vision for the costuming behind Cinderella... If the Shoe Fits, Wendi has been delighted to imagine the fantasy looks for this fairytale classic, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. This is her ninth time working with Theatre Orangeville, and she is very grateful to be a part of this amazingly kind and creative tribe! Hoping that you all enjoy the show!
Brian has joined Theatre Orangeville after a long career in Film and Television production. His roots lie in theatre, and he is very excited to be part of the Theatre Orangeville team.
Dan has fulfilled many roles with Theatre Orangeville over the last eight seasons. From the Opera House, to the shop floor, and now to the video office where his work takes us online to share our stage with a global audience. Dan has a keen interest in further developing his skills and keeps a pulse on advancing technologies which further supports the magic you see on stage. Away from the stage he also freelances as an AV Technician for large scale events.
Casey is thrilled to be a part of the Theatre Orangeville team, going into her second season. Previously working on The Addams Family, Puffs and on props for the 2023/24 mainstage season. Casey is a graduate of Queen’s University and Sheridan College’s theatre programs where she worked on multiple shows as a Scenic Carpenter. She would like to thank Lara, Kevin, Jessica, Josh and everyone who has supported her up to this point.
Hannah is joining Theatre Orangeville for the first time this summer! Hannah is a Centennial College graduate with a certificate in Art and Design Fundamentals. She is about to enter her final year at Sheridan College, studying Technical Production for the Performing Arts Industry. Hannah has most recently worked on Sheridan's production of Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland as a Scenic Artist and Props builder. Hannah would like to thank her family, Karina Aloe, and Sarah Sousa.

Sarah Henry-Godfrey - "Sadie" - lives beside the Bruce Trail in beautiful Mono with her parents and her dog Finn. She attended local schools and is currently a very busy client of Branching Out Support Services. She is also an enthusiastic, original cast member of Creative Partners on Stage and has never missed a production.
In her spare time, Sarah loves to read, write, paint, watch movies, take pictures, clean house, listen to music and - now - have her own business, which she named Kalleidescope after one of her favourite childhood toys.
With the committed and creative support of Jodee Jack, Pete Paterson and Paul Morin, Sarah is now realizing her dream of reaching out to the world through art.
Her unique Sadie Shirts, prints and notecards draw those who love splashes of bold colour and unexpected design elements. She has been featured by In the Hills magazine.
Sarah says, “I love art because I love sharing different ways of seeing the world. I’m very shy so it’s easier for me to paint or write what I’m thinking about. And I especially love colours and funky shapes. They make me feel happy."
