About Student Conduct 101, 201, & 301

The mission of Student Conduct 101, 201, 301 modules is to provide a distilled training in a virtual environment. Our in-person Gehring Academy is designed to cover similar topic areas; however, the Academy is able to utilize a four-day training period to go in-depth on these and other topics. In SC 101, 201, and 301, by contrast, attendees will engage in a training concentrated on a particular topic that will provide the foundational or intermediate basics needed to be a successful practitioner.

The most exciting feature of this program is our "a la carte" delivery method of content. Rather than one module that includes all of the topics, we determined that practitioners should be able to select the content most relevant to them and their needs. You can take anywhere from one to all five modules depending on your professional role or interests. This way, too, our Primary Practitioners (faculty) can focus on delivering specific knowledge from their area of expertise, instead of only briefly skimming the surface of these crucial knowledge and skill areas.

Additionally, we will be offering continuing education credits for Student Affairs Educator Certification.  Click here for more information about SC 101 and CEs or email Amanda Mesirow at aed@theasca.org for more information. FYI, you do not have to have Certification in order to attend SC 101/201/301! Earning CEs is an option for those certified, however.

These modules are perfect for those new to student conduct or transitioning to conduct work from another functional area, as well as administrators with minimal or no conduct experience who have conduct officers in their supervisory portfolio.
