Short Course - entirely virtual educational program consisting of multiple modules that may take place over an extended period of time and may include live, pre-recorded*, and hybrid delivery methods.

Once you indicate you would like your program to offer CEs, the Assistant Executive Director will contact you with more information.
ASCA will take care of many of the logistics around CEs--we want to make this as simple as possible!
SAEC may require a minimum of 30 days advance notice prior to the program date to approve a program–so contact us soon!
You will be required to submit a resume/CV as well as learning outcomes, and provide written materials to attendees.
All educational opportunities offering CEs must have learning outcomes that are reflected in the evaluation
Attendance must be taken at your event, and attendees seeking CEs must complete the learning outcomes assessment (they cannot submit anonymously). Attendees seeking CEs will receive an electronic certificate from ASCA only upon completion of the learning outcomes assessment.
Educational opportunities must adhere to the guidelines stated on this site, as well as guidelines stated by Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs Educator Certification or by ASCA staff (i.e., the Assistant Executive Director).
*Note: As per HEC guidelines, pre-recorded programs are only eligible for CEs for 365 days from date of initial approval.
