Deciding on post 16 and post 18 options can be difficult. There is a wide range of opportunities available and the labour market is changing at a rapid pace due to advances in technology and globalisation. In addition, the impact of Covid 19 has created turbulence and uncertainty.
To support you with your decision making it is important that you consider a number of factors such as:
Self Awareness - identifying what you enjoy doing, what you are good at, your values, the environment you would be most suited to
Opportunity Awareness - carrying out your research so that you understand all of your options
Skills and Experience - seeking out a range of activities and experiences to develop your skills and knowledge before finalising your choices
The Appleton School Careers Portal has been designed to support you with this process. Listed on these pages are a wide range of extra curricular activities and events that you can get involved in with relevant links and contact information.
