At The King Edward VI School, our curriculum is designed with your learning at the centre. Our curriculum is wide ranging to meet your needs. It aims to equip you with the skills necessary to maximise your success both in school and in your life after school – academic outcomes are only one part of the success we measure. Our curriculum offers you new and exciting experiences through both enrichment and extra-curricular activities that are designed to build your resilience, confidence and self-esteem. 

We firmly believe you should be challenged throughout your school life. Consequently, our curriculum is designed to be stimulating, enabling you to develop your interpersonal and problem solving skills, your oracy and your independence.

The options process is an opportunity for you to personalise your curriculum and select subjects which you really enjoy and want to study in greater depth. You will receive a lot of advice and guidance from experienced staff about choices that may be suitable for you. Please listen carefully to all the advice you are given, and use this website to support your decision making process.
