AI(ex) is an AI model trained on my voice, background, and experiences. It’s here to help you learn more about me—what I do, what I’ve done, and what I'm passionate about, and he's available 24/7. 

Note: Usual AI caveats apply - AI generated content can be incorrect! Do not take everything voiced by the AI as fact... especially where it rules me out of potential opportunities! 😉 

Stuck for ideas, no worries - you can ask anything you like, and although I can't promise he'll always be able to give an [accurate] answer - he will hopefully give you a bit of a feel about "me". Here's some ideas for questions you can ask to help you figure if you'd like to work with me:

Terms of Service – Chat with Al(ex)

By clicking "Chat with Al(ex)", and engaging in any communication with this AI assistant, the 'User' (Person(s) asking questions) agrees to the following Terms of Service, as established by the 'Author' (Creator and/or Operator of the AI assistant).

1. Consent to Use

By initiating a conversation with Al(ex), the User provides informed consent to the recording, storage, analysis, and processing of their text and voice inputs. These interactions may be transmitted to or processed by trusted third-party service providers for the purposes of:

• Voice synthesis

• Speech recognition

• Natural language processing

• Session continuity

• Diagnostic and safety monitoring

2. Personal Data Handling

Al(ex) does not proactively request, store, recall, or disclose personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or identifying details unless that information is explicitly and deliberately submitted by the User within the current session.

Personal data that is intentionally provided by the User (for example, in response to a prompt requesting an email address for follow-up) will be used only in accordance with the User’s clearly stated intent and only within that session. It will not be disclosed, repeated, or remembered across sessions or in any unsolicited context.

Personal data provided by the User is not automatically filtered or redacted. The system may reference such data only to fulfill the User's specific, express instructions during the session.

The Author has implemented safeguards to prevent Al(ex) from disclosing or inferring personal information not expressly provided during the session.

3. Data Retention

All User interactions may be securely logged and retained for a maximum of 30 days, after which they will be automatically deleted in accordance with the Author’s data retention policy.

Data may be retained during this period solely for:

• Following-up on User enquiries

• Technical support and diagnostics

• Service quality monitoring

• Abuse prevention and compliance

Users may request the early deletion of stored session data, subject to identity verification.

4. Use of Third-Party Services

To enable core functionality, Al(ex) may transmit or process User communications through third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Speech-to-text and voice generation providers

• Language model APIs

• Cloud infrastructure

All third-party providers are contractually obligated to maintain appropriate data security and privacy compliance.

5. Confidentiality Disclaimer

Al(ex) is not designed for or intended to handle sensitive use cases. Users should not share:

• Passwords or login credentials

• Financial or payment information

• Government-issued identification

• Protected health information

• Business-confidential or regulated content

The Author accepts no liability for the exposure or misuse of sensitive data submitted contrary to this guidance.

6. Opt-Out

If the User does not consent to the recording, processing, or storage of their communications as described above, they must refrain from clicking "Chat with Al(ex)" or engaging in conversation with AI(ex).

7. Amendments

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time without notice. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the most current version.

8. Third-Party Processing

Voice output in this application is provided using the ElevenLabs platform. By using this service, the User also agrees to be bound by ElevenLabs’ Terms of Service, available at: https://www.elevenlabs.io/terms-of-use-eu
