Online dance movement therapy workshop is being organised by Elpis on 26th February. Although dance has been a method of expression for centuries, it wasn’t until recently that it was characterised as a form of therapy.
Dance therapy, or dance movement therapy is the psychotherapeutic use of movement and dance for emotional, cognitive, social behavioural and physical conditions. It strengthens the body and mind connection through body movements to improve both the mental and physical well-being of individuals.
Ms. Somya Narang, founder of Katharsis Counselling and mental health therapist will be taking the workshop.
We all have different stressors which trigger us, this workshop will help you loosen up. Join us for a fun, relaxing and mindful experience.
