NEED

The scope of our project is limited to the design and development of a wood-fired oven suitable for use in households, during the evaluative timeline of our Capstone Project, which is to be submitted for partial fulfilment of the requirement for BE in MEE

We, students at TIET, Patiala, as a part of our Capstone project are trying to make a COMPACT PORTABLE WOOD-FIRED OVEN, especially for baking pizzas.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The audience targeted for the need analysis is split into three different segments:

• Households

• Industry

• Restaurants

From the need analysis carried out with the help of various stakeholders, the following objectives were evaluated to be of utmost importance:

• Aesthetic design

• Temperature range (200⁰ - 400⁰ C)

• Ease of operation: Automatic temperature control

• Proper insulation

• Portable design

• Cost between Rs. 15,000 – 20,000
