I joined the Bruin staff in 2016, bringing over 20 years of industry experience from Technical Management & Support at Fortune 50 companies to running my own design and development projects as an entrepreneur. I also coach our Esports & Robotics teams during the spring and fall seasons!
I believe technology exists to solve real-world problems, and I strive every day to inspire an excitement for creative Computer Science applications in my students. My classroom functions like a modern workplace: learning is project-based, technical, and heavily focused on essential professional skills like teamwork, communication, flexibility, and time management. My goal is to ensure every student leaves prepared for successful internships, college, and beyond.

Welcome to class! I have three adult children and just celebrated my 26th wedding anniversary. I also spent part of my summer near Washington, D.C., at the National TSA competition. Fun fact: next year's TSA competition is in Florida! . 🙌 ☀️✨ You should come too! Listen closely to our school announcements and in-class updates to find out how you can join TSA very soon.
