Week 1 - January 1st - January 5th
Monday- No School - New Year's Day
Tuesday- No School - robotics practice
Wednesday-No School - Teacher Workday
Thursday- Welcome to class and did a challenge to design a car do go down a wire.
Friday- I worked on the class survey and set up my portfolio.
Week 2 - January 8th - January 12th
Monday- Learned about the engineering design process and our new project the Fling Machine, picked groups and I did research with Casper.
Tuesday- We reviewed the engineering design process and worked on researching and choosing a design for our fling machine.
Wednesday- We finished building our prototype and started collected data for our fling machine.
Thursday- We finished collecting data and then worked on our slides for our project.
Friday- No School SNOW DAY!
Week 3 - January 15th - January 19th
Monday- . No School SNOW DAY!
Tuesday- My group presented our project and I listed to other group projects.

Wednesday-No School- Snow Day!
Thursday- Listed to last presentation and worked on data analysis to figure out distance from the target (0, 0)
Friday- Went out to S-building. Then set up Fusion 360 account and worked on Fusion Challenge.
Week 4 -January 22nd - January 26th
Monday- Learned about sketching and then worked on a hand sketch of a x-box controller and started my sketch of a retro Nintendo controller in Fusion 360.

Tuesday- I finished up my Monday sketching assignment and set up this week in my portfolio.
Wednesday - Today we were helping the Bionic Bruins team do some work before their scrimmage on Saturday. (please tell me which group you worked with: arm pulley, attaching team numbers, gripper extension).
Thursday- Today I had to use the engineering design process to solve the problem: Our Robot needs a claw or hook device to attach to the arms so the robot can pull itself up on the bar.

Friday- We did some team building while helping others. We went to Mrs. Moore's room and moved the stream table lab to Ms. Greenwood's room and then helped to load Bionic Bruin's supplies into the truck for their scrimmage tomorrow.
Week 5 - January 29th - February 2nd
Monday- I finished sketching my front views of 3 objects.

Wednesday - We learned how to do ISOMETRIC drawings

Thursday- We learned about constraints and worked on an isometric sketch of our name.

Friday- We reviewed constraints and I worked on isometric drawings in Fusion.

Week 6 - February 5th - February 9th
Monday- We learned what Multiview drawings are and how to create them.

Tuesday- I updated my portfolio and learned about how to reverse engineer.
Wednesday - Finished my Multiview Drawing Review packet and started my Reverse Engineering Project.
Thursday- Today I worked to finish my visual and functional analysis of my wind up toy. I just started to take my wind up toy apart.
Friday-Today I worked to finish my Reverse Engineering project and I got it done!

Week 7 - February 12th - February 16th
Monday- We reviewed the Reverse Engineering project and I met with Mrs. Moore to review my portfolio and project.
Tuesday- We took notes on what a Multiview is and then practiced drawing one

Wednesday - Finished my Multiview Drawing and learned how to dimension in Fusion.
Thursday- Today we learned through holes vs boreholes and how they look in Fusion.

Friday- we had a Multiview quiz and then I was caught up on my weekly assignments so I earned some free time to play games on the computer.
Week 8 - February 18th - February 23rd
Monday- No School - President's Day
Tuesday- No School - Teacher In-Service
Wednesday - I met with Mrs. Moore to grade Week 7 and I worked on sketching and joining parts in Fusion
Thursday- Today I learned how to measure with digital calipers and then practiced measuring items. I started a Fusion sketch of a bearing using the Calipers to measure the bearing.

Friday-Today we worked on making a door stop with embossing and I had some free time at the end of class because my week's work was done.

Week 9 - February 26th - March 1st
Monday- We learned about the earbud project and started research.
Tuesday- Reviewed how project will be graded. Finished research started sketching.
Wednesday - Worked on Earbud project finished idea sketches and picked an idea to sketch on Fusion.
Thursday- Reviewed steps in engineering design process and worked on sketches in Fusion.
Friday-Today I worked on my Multiview sketches in Fusion and got my earbud case file on the 3D printer.

Week 10 - March 3rd - March 8th
Monday- Worked on Earbud case Engineering document, and prepared presentation.
Tuesday- Earbud Case presentations. Notes on tolerances and practiced identifying tolerances.
Wednesday - Notes on Joinery, video, review of how to join objects Fusion. Just started joinery shapes assignment.
Thursday- Today worked on joining shapes in Fusion and worked on Joinery project.

Friday- End of 3rd Quarter. Finished any missing work and had free time.
