Q3 Engineering Today

Monday the 13th- On Monday we got into pairs to begin working on a new earbud case project.

Tuesday the 14th- On Tuesday I began working on modeling and researching the design.

Wednesday the 15th- On Wednesday I continued modeling and sketching the design in Fusion.

Thursday the 16th- On Thursday I finished sketching and got the Multiview of the design. The I finished my part of the engineering report. Engineering Report 

Friday the 17th- On Friday I had all my work done and just did ER time.

Monday the 29th- On Monday I began to work on the spook-tastic Halloween project. 

Tuesday the 30th- On Tuesday I continued working on my ghost toy. 

Wednesday the 1st- On Wednesday I finished modeling my ghost and completed the multi view drawing. I then began to work on my presentation. Ghost Multi View drawing Ghost Toy Model 

Thursday the 2nd- On Thursday I continued working on my presentation.

Monday the 29th- On Monday I finished my multi view drawing in Fusion and began to work on holes in Fusion. Multi view drawing  

Tuesday the 30th- On Tuesday I finished my hole practice in Fusion. Hole and Thread Practice Hole and Thread Practice Multiview 

Wednesday the 1st- On Wednesday I had a multi view quiz and learned how to use Dial Calipers. I then did a practice with them. Dial Caliper worksheet 

Thursday the 2nd- On Thursday I began to make a doorstep and learn how to customized my drawing template.

Monday the 22nd- On Monday I reviewed the different types of 3d printers and how they're used. I also began to work on the last isometric challenge.

Tuesday the 23rd- On Tuesday I reviewed metric vs standard measurements and practiced measuring. I also finished my level 3 isometric sketches. Isometric Sketches Isabel 

Wednesday the 24th- On Wednesday I learned what a Multiview drawing is and then practiced drawing Multiview in my notebook. 

Thursday the 25th- On Thursday I reviewed Multiview sketches and then began to work on them in Fusion. 

Monday the 15th- On Monday I studied isometric sketches. We then got into groups of three to practice sketching simple objects in isometric view. Isometric View sketches 

Tuesday the 16th- On Tuesday we updated our portfolios and continued working with our groups to finish the isometric sketches challenge. Isometric Block Challenge 

Wednesday the 17th- On Wednesday I finished my name sketches and began to design it in Fusion Autodesk.

Thursday the 18th- On Thursday I kept working on my name in Fusion Autodesk.

Monday the 8th- On Monday I studied and practiced concept sketches.

Tuesday the 9th- On Tuesday I signed up for Fusion Autodesk and downloaded the program into the computers. We also peer reviewed each other's concept sketches.

Wednesday the 10th- On Wednesday Mrs. Moore was gone so we had a substitute. I began to work on my engineering job assignments.  

Thursday the 11th- On Thursday I finished my engineering job assignment and began to play around with Fusion Autodesk. Neural Engineering Poster First Fusion Design Copy of Career Exploration 

Monday the 1st- On Monday it was Labor Day so we did nothing.

Tuesday the 2nd- On Tuesday we continued to work on our fling machine projects. I worked on the slideshow and input the data into it. 

Wednesday the 3rd- On Wednesday we finished collecting our fling machine data and the slideshow. presentation

Thursday the 4th- On Thursday we presented our slideshow and did a spreadsheet for some of the data. datasheet

Monday the 25th- On Monday we collected data from our cable car challenge and talked about the steps in the Design Process.

Tuesday the 26th- On Tuesday I reviewed the Design process and began to work on our fling machine challenge in teams.  

Wednesday the 27th- On Wednesday we decided on our final design and began to construct our fling machine.  final design 

Thursday the 28th- On Thursday we finished building our fling machines and began to record data. We also started working on our presentation. presentation

Monday the 18th- On Monday we introduced our partners to the class and then we did a challenge where we had to build the tallest free-standing tower out of popsicle sticks and binder clips.

Tuesday the 19th- On Tuesday we went over the syllabus and played syllabus bingo. We then did a challenge with our partners in which we had to use chopsticks to put as many marshmallows into a cup in a limited amount of time. After that we took the Semester 1 EOC Pre Test and then took a survey.

Wednesday the 20th- On Wednesday we did an activity where we had to put small ring noodles into a cup by using a long piece of raw spaghetti into a cup in a limited amount of time. After that we began to work on our portfolios.

Thursday the 21st- On Thursday we continued to work on our portfolios.
