Show colleges hat you are ready to succeed. The ACT offers a paper/pencil test or an online test. The ACT contains multiple-choice tests in four areas: English, mathematics, reading and science. ACT's writing test is optional and will not affect your composite score. Connect with colleges and scholarship programs through Educational Opportunity Search, which matches you with colleges and career-related resources aligned with your interests. Your ACT score can increase your chances of earning merit-based scholarships.
