Week of 10/26:
**Our class will be going to the Book Fair on Wednesday, October 28th!
**We will be celebrating Halloween on Friday, 10/30. The Halloween parade will begin at 9 am!
This week, we will begin our end-of-unit writing piece. The students will analyze the task and rubric, plan, and begin their draft.
End-of-Unit Writing: Write a four-paragraph essay to explain how keystone species affect the Yellowstone ecosystem. Include details from the unit texts about wolves and about one other keystone species.
Week of 10/19:
**Thursday, 10/22 is Picture Day! Our class will be going at 10:50.
This week, we will be continuing with Unit 1 of Magnetic Literacy, our ELA program. In this unit, we are focusing on the following:
Essential Question: How is everything in nature connected?
End-of-Unit Writing: Write a four-paragraph essay to explain how keystone species affect the Yellowstone ecosystem. Include details from the unit texts about wolves and about one other keystone species.
This week we will be learning about homophones and direct quotations. We will also practice comparing and contrasting.
Week of 10/12:

This week, we will be continuing with Unit 1 of Magnetic Literacy, our ELA program. In this unit, we are focusing on the following:
