Our Class Newsletter

In Math this week, our lessons will include addition and subtraction with three digit numbers, reviewing even and odd numbers, building the 5 times table, and telling time. 

At home, practice addition facts.  Try an online game or use flashcards! 

In Reading this week, we will be focusing on the skill determining the central message of a story. In our Magnetic Reading books, we will be reading stories that focus on how others can help us learn and grow! 

In Writing, we will continue to listen to different read alouds to analyze author’s writing styles. This will inspire students in their own writing. 

In Social Studies, we will be continueing to focus on Hispanic Heritage Month. Students will be working with a partner to research a famous Hispanic person and create a poster. Students will then share their presentation with the class!
