I believe that grades are a reflection of a students’ mastery of a topic. If students did not master a topic the first time around, I provide them with the opportunity to show me that they have improved. Below you will find the optional extra credit opportunities available for students to demonstrate improvement in a topic after we have completed our unit. Students must complete these extra credit opportunities at home (class time will not be provided).
Following the Intro to Science Test, students may choose to complete the tissue box project to demonstrate mastery of scientific method concepts. The guidelines and rubric are included in the document on the left. All relevant information students need to complete this project can be found in google classroom labeled "Extra Credit Opportunity" in the "Intro to Science" topic.
Submissions of this project will be accepted up until Friday October 20th. Submissions after this date will not be accepted for extra credit.
