Fun Fridays

Cup Stacking

Everyone loves to stack cups! Watch the video linked on the left. The video will give you some information about building that will help you to be successful. Next, build the tallest tower you can with the cups you have. See which group made the tallest tower.

If you really want a challenge, create a grappler tool out of one rubber band and 4 pieces of yarn or string about 12 inches long. Make the rule that you can only touch the cups with the grappler (no hands!).

Paper Roller Coaster

This is a fun activity. Making roller coasters can be a challenge, but if you have the materials all set ahead of time and work as a team, you can get it done!

Here is a template for teachers to print on card stock ahead of time.

Marble Run

Making a marble run is a ton of fun. You will need to save paper towel or tp tubes before you can make your marble run. After you collected your tubes, you will need some masking tape or painters tape and some wall space. Using the hallway may be the best place. You can also use a large sturdy piece of poster board if you think you may want to keep your marble run and challenge others!

Paper Helicopter

Watch the video and use the template to create a whirly bird helicopter. Simple but fun and that's what Fun Friday is all about.
