Teacher Bio

Welcome! My name is Karyn-Faith Coppola, and I am proud to be the ESL teacher here in the Tinton Falls school district! I have always had a passion for learning, which made it easy to choose a career..TEACHING! I graduated from Monmouth University in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in general education and special education. While studying education at Monmouth I also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics (I love numbers!) While covering a maternity leave at Swimming River School in 2011, I returned to Monmouth and started taking classes to learn how to teach English as a second language. After graduating Monmouth for the second time, I landed my first teaching job in Barnegat, New Jersey. My first year there I was a second grade teacher. The following year I graduated to third grade and had the privilege of teaching 24 third graders. Although I enjoyed teaching down in Barnegat, I always knew I belonged in Tinton Falls where I had started my teaching career. I am lucky to have spent the last 8 years teaching in English as a Second Language in Tinton Falls

KINDERGARTEN

We are working on identifying letters, sounds, colors, and shapes! Keep practiicing at home!

We will be working to expand our vocabularies through stories. We will also be practicing retelling with details.

We will be working to expand our vocabularies through stories. We will also be practicing retelling with details.

Fourth Grade

We will be working to expand our vocabularies through nonfiction science stories.

Fifth Grade

We will be working to expand our vocabularies through nonfiction science stories.
