the stories we become, and the fabric we weave— we take the stage."
Our school opened in September of 2014. From that first year, the art of theatre has been an important part of the school community. From our first middle school production "Knights of the Rad Table" to our most recent high school festival production of "City of Spindles", our program has grown dramatically.
Our program motto highlights some key characteristics of our work:
Our program is collaborative. Greatness can't be achieved by one solitary person. We need the talents, perspectives, and experiences of others to help us strive towards greatness together. We must become a tightly bound group to be able to bring all of the elements of the show together. No role is considered as too small or insignificant. In addition to learning how to be better artists, we also focus on how we can become better team members.
The stories we tell are powerful. We take pride in what we're creating, whether it's a costume design or the interpretation of a character. Our words have great impact and we are responsible for the stories we tell, both on and off the stage. We are united in our purpose of exploring humanity and making connections with others through the work of theatre.
