Proposal Details
The mission of the TALE is to promote literacy that will enhance the lives of all Texas citizens personally, socially, and economically. Our annual conference will offer professional learning for those who serve:
Preschool/Early Childhood Learners
Elementary Learners
Middle Grades Learners
Secondary Learners
Adult/College Learners
Preservice Teachers
We encourage and invite TALE members and individuals to submit proposals for a one-hour session that offers information on a specific literacy-related topic.
General Information & Guidelines
The 2026 TALE Winter Conference is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX.
Conference proposals must be received by Saturday, November 15, 2025. No changes may be made after this date.
All presenters (including co-presenters) must register and pay conference fees by January 10, 2026.
As a professional, nonprofit organization, TALE is unable to reimburse or waive conference registration or travel expenses for presenters.
In order to be considered, conference proposals must be complete.
Presenters are welcome to submit more than one proposal. Please use a separate application for each conference proposal.
Presenters will be notified of their acceptance or non-acceptance by the week of December 8, 2025.
Proposals will not be returned. Please keep a copy for your records.
