2026 Teacher of the Year

HEAT Teacher of the Year is an annual award which provides recognition to a singular Texas teacher in hospitality.  

Sponsored by The San Luis Resort, the winner of this award receives recognition at the HEAT Annual Conferences, receives a complimentary overnight stay at the beautiful San Luis Resort and receives complimentary membership & registration to the HEAT conference in 2026.

In order to be recognized, the nominee must have a supervisor, colleague or peer nominate them.  Applications must be received by September 18, 2026.  The winner will be announced at the Annual HEAT Conference November 1-4, 2026 in Corpus Christi.
