Chorus

All middle school students are welcome to join the OTS chorus. Students rehearse once per week during E&R.  Because the group only rehearses for 30 minutes per week, attendance at each rehearsal is mandatory. Attendance will be taken at each rehearsal. Chorus is a high energy and fun way for students to learn harmony, intonation and public performance. 

All middle school chorus participants are invited to attend the music trip in May, 2023. Students will only be eligible to attend the trip if they comply with the rehearsal attendance guidelines and maintain good behavior during rehearsals and performances. The music trip is a great experience where the students perform for nationally ranking adjudicators and receive a rating. When the students are done with the performance part of the day, they spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the park. Permission slips for the music trip will be passed out in October and due back before Thanksgiving break.
