Mr. Strange

I grew up many years ago in Madison, NJ. 

I got married in 1999 and my wife and I moved to Durham, North Carolina.  We lived there for 5 years while I taught first grade at George Watts Elementary School, and my wife worked as an ICU nurse at Durham Regional Hospital (originally Watts Hospital). 

Now my wife and I live in High Bridge with our 2 silly dogs (Meatball and Rat), 2 of our 3 Strange kids (when they're not away at college or work) and our 5 chickens, Shadow, Superman, Batman, Tails and Nugget. The third Strange kid got married this summer and is now Mrs. Bergquist. She now lives in Schenectady, NY with her husband Greg.

This is my 23rd year teaching in Tewksbury. I taught first grade here for 5 years, then third grade for 8 years and this is my 10th year teaching 2nd grade.

Wow, I feel old just typing all of that!

I love teaching writing, math and science.
