I grew up many years ago in Madison, NJ.
I got married in 1999 and my wife and I moved to Durham, North Carolina. We lived there for 5 years while I taught first grade at George Watts Elementary School, and my wife worked as an ICU nurse.
Now my wife and I live in High Bridge with our 2 silly dogs (Meatball and Rat), our 3 Strange kids (when they're not away at college) and our 5 chickens, Shadow, Superman, Batman, Tails and Nugget.
This is my 22nd year teaching in Tewksbury. I taught first grade for 5 years, third grade for 8 years and this is my 9th year teaching 2nd grade.
Wow, I feel old just typing all of that!
I love teaching writing, math and science.
In case you haven't heard, I also like to Kayak.

Below is some drone footage of me running the Spillway Rapid on the Moshier section of the Beaver R. in upstate NY, on Labor Day Weekend of 2022.
This one is very close to home.
It's Hollow Brook through Teetertown Ravine on the edge of Califon, NJ.
