92% of the funding addresses long-overdue HVAC system replacements at both TES and OTS.
Flooring upgrades (2%) at OTS would replace tiles
that are made from outdated materials.
Some exterior doors at both schools need replacing (6%) because of corrosion and worn hinges.
This question can pass on its own.
Projects include:
Renovations to the All Purpose Room (32%)
Upgrades to science labs (30%) and Tech (STEAM) rooms (16%)
Enhancements to the Art Room (7%) and classroom doors (15%)
Question 2 cannot pass unless Question 1 is approved.

The School Bond Proposal Questions appear near the end of the General Election ballot, for people using in-person voting machines. On printed mail-in ballots, look on the back side for these important questions.
The ballot seeks permission to borrow the full amount of $14.7 million and state aid will help make payments to buy back the bonds.
Much like a homeowner would finance improvements through a home equity loan, the district would pay for projects by borrowing (through the sale of bonds) and spread those costs over the 20-year life of the loan.
For this school referendum: Question 1 can pass on its own. Question 2 cannot pass unless Question 1 is approved.
Regardless of how you cast your ballot, your voter registration must be up to date by October 14 with your current name and address.
Check your voter registration status in the state database.
Register online, or update your name/address by completing a voter registration form.
Register by mail by printing and mailing a paper registration form, offered in English and Spanish. Get more details about registering to vote from the Hunterdon County Voting Information Website.
