Social Studies

Students in fourth grade learn about the different regions of the United States: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and West.

We also cover Mexico, Canada, and some history of early exploration.

Within these studies, we think about this central question, "How does where we live affect how we live?" For each regional study, we discuss:

  • geography
  • land features
  • weather and climate
  • natural and man-made resources
  • tourists attractions and culture
  • Native American history

Mrs. Conrad is your social studies teacher.
