Welcome to 5th Grade!
My name is Mrs. Dunn, and I’m thrilled to be your teacher this year! I am committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom where every student feels supported and valued. I believe in helping students grow not just academically, but socially and emotionally, too.
I was born and raised in Rockland County, NY, and now live in Little Egg Harbor with my husband, Tim. Outside the classroom, I love spending time with my family at the beach, reading and traveling.
This is my twelfth year teaching and I am so excited for what the year has in store for us! Let’s make it a fantastic year together 💫

I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood & Childhood Education, with a concentration in Social Studies, at State University of New York (SUNY) Oneonta. I went on to complete my master's degree in Humanistic and Multicultural Education from SUNY New Paltz. These programs helped shape my teaching style, emphasizing respect for diverse perspectives and the importance of student voice.
