Certified Workers
Under the Republic Act 7796, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is mandated by law to develop and implement a national system of skills standardization, assessment and certification in the country.
Skills certification is the process of assessing the skills of workers or individuals based on the skills standards or a set of competencies for the occupation.
All certificates relating to the national skills assessment and certification system shall be issued by TESDA through its Secretariat.
The Registry of Certified Workers will:
provide information on the pool of certified workers for certain occupations nationwide; and
facilitate verification of the certificate status of workers
