ON-SITE MONITORING OF TVIS IN AGUSAN DEL NORTE

As part of the monitoring of RD Tarhata “Tata” S. Mapandi, CESO III to ensure that the training programs are existent, the trainees are attending the trainings and the required training durations are complied with, TESDA Caraga team headed by RD Tata together with Ms. Lynette B. Ysalina, Regional Scholarship Focal and Ms. Ivy C. Arbas, TESDA PO-ADN Representative conducted an On-the-Spot Monitoring to the TVI-beneficiaries of the 2021 TESDA Scholarship Programs in the province of Agusan del Norte on November 11, 2021.

Four (4) partner TVIs were visited: GUG Caraga Skills Training Center (GCSTC, Corp.), Butuan City Manpower Training Center, Merchant Marine Academy of Caraga, Inc., and Father Urios Institute of Technology of Ampayon, Inc.

The TESDA Scholarship programs include several subcomponents such as the Private Education Student Fund Assistance (PESFA), the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP), the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP), the Rice Extension Services Program (RESP), the Tulong Trabaho Scholarship Proram (TTSP) and the Universal Access for Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA).

As TESDA will continue to serve the community through quality TVET trainings amid the pandemic.
