TESDA CARAGA CARES: STRENGTHENING AND SUSTAINING DIRECTIONS FOR 2021 AS REINFORCED BY THE NEWLY INSTALLED REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF TESDA CARAGA - DIR. TARHATA S. MAPANDI, CESO III

Outgoing Regional Director Ashary A. Banto hands over the stewardship of TESDA Caraga to the incoming Regional Director Tarhata S. Mapandi, CESO III during the turnover and send-off ceremony on January 7, 2021 held at the Pavilion, Watergate, JP Rosales Ave., Butuan City.

As TESDA Caraga heads towards the agency’s thrust “TESDA, Abot Lahat,” under the new leadership, strengthening and sustaining directions for 2021 are reinforced by RD Mapandi to provide quality, assured, inclusive and vibrant TVET through the delivery of relevant TESD programs and services not just in mainstream but also in serving and prioritizing those less privileged sectors of the community in the region.

With the quality service that TESDA Caraga gives to the public, it will surely increase in number of skilled workers which she believes that it would be beneficial for strong, sustainable and balance growth in the entire region TVET through the delivery of relevant TESD programs and services. It is her drive that TESDA Caraga will work more with passion, deep sense of commitment and strive for excellence, indeed Caraga CARES (Committed, Adaptable, Re-Enforcing, Efficient/Effective, Swift Services).

Outgoing Regional Director Ashary A. Banto underscored in his speech that it has been an honor and privilege to have worked with Caraga endowed with different strengths and unique talents and abilities. He said that his greatest hope and aspiration is for everyone to keep the flame of service regardless of the assignment and common good in everyone’s

hearts. He also extended his appreciation to Region 10 for the warm welcome and mentioned that he will do his best like what he did to Caraga.

On the other hand, the Incoming Regional Director of TESDA Caraga highlighted in her speech that as a public servant wherever we may be dispersed and planted – READINESS and PREPAREDNESS is a right and sound attitude to begin with an open heart and mind. She also mentioned that we are not just trained to served but we pledge to do even more. She also extended her appreciation to team Caraga for the warm welcome and for Region 10 for the support.

“I will ensure that TESDA Caraga will trek mountains, sail rivers and seas to deliver services to the most vulnerable and disadvantage communities with my team CARAGA – who truly CARES to reach the unreached and served the unserved.,” she added.

She stressed to have more collaborative undertakings with 2partners and stakeholders to assure the continuity of the agency’s mandate and achievement of targets.

RD Mapandi is the Regional Director of TESDA Region X before she was assigned and installed here in TESDA Caraga effective January 4, 2021.

The ceremony was attended by TESDA Caraga and TESDA Region X Officials, personnel and guests.
