In support to the Executive Order No. 70 โInstitutionalizing the Whole-of-Nation approach in attaining inclusive and sustainable peace, creating a National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict,โ Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as Chair of the Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC) supported the conduct of ๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ผ ๐ช๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐๐ต ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐น๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ anchored with the theme โ๐๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐จ ๐๐จ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ค๐ก ๐ค๐ ๐๐๐จ๐๐ค๐ข, ๐ผ๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ช๐ฉ๐ ๐๐จ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ฝ๐ง๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ผ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ง๐ค๐ฅ๐ง๐๐๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐๐๐๐, ๐๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐พ๐ค๐ค๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ ๐๐๐จ๐๐ก๐๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐พ๐พ๐จ/ ๐๐๐จโon November 25, 2020 at Brgy. Pianing, Butuan City.
The activity was participated by different tribal leaders and 40 IP Youth participants coming from Brgy. Pianing, Anticala, Bugsukan, Butuan City, Las Nieves, Buenavista, Nasipit and Carmen โ all identified RCSP barangays in the Province of Agusan del Norte. Also present during the assembly were the men and women in uniform from 402nd IB and PNP PRO13, Mindanao IP Council of Elders Leaders and of course TESDA under the leadership of Regional Director Ashary A. Banto well represented by Ms. Novielita A. Dispo, Supervising TESD Specialist at the same time PRLEC Regional Focal.
Given the chance to share to the IP Youth and to the community, Ms. Dispo of TESDA Caraga underscored Secretary Isidro S. Lapenaโs thrust on โTESDA Abot Lahatโ ensuring that TESDA services will be more accessible to the marginalize sectors of the community. The agency will continue to serve the community through quality TVET trainings which will eventually provide employment. She also presented the different TESDA scholarship program offerings that our youth can avail.
It was also discussed during the assembly the Brief Introduction on IKSP and Importance of IPs, the 11 Construction materials and Role of IP Youth in Building a Resilient (Ancestral Domain) and IP Youth Participation in the NTF-ELCAC.
The aforementioned Youth Assembly was hosted by the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), Agusan del Norte Provincial Office headed by Engr. Charlyn G. Binghoy, Provincial Officer.
Indeed, the convergence of the difference agencies truly creates a positive impact to community and it lightens the heavy task of the government in addressing the needs of people in the conflict areas in the country.
TESDA Caraga will continue to serve the community, which directly influences the lives of the people and the relevance of the training with the aide given to the community, which paved the way for a productive life in the future to come.
