Working under the new normal state, Regional Director Ashary A. Banto of TESDA Caraga and Provincial Director of Agusan del Sur - Lorenzo Emanuel L. Guillermo together with the inspection team of TESDA Caraga Regional Office and Provincial Office of Agusan del Sur conducted an on-site monitoring and inspection to some Accredited Competency Assessment Centers in the province of Agusan del Sur last October 30, 2020.

Assessment and Accreditation is TESDA’s major mandate and the major factor to quality is to assure and maintain the integrity of our assessment centers based on the standards and operating procedures. The agency believes that the integrity of the National Certificates depends on the integrity of the process, as much as the facilities where assessment is conducted.

Three (3) Assessment Centers in the Province of Agusan del Sur were inspected namely: Agusan del Sur School of Arts and Trades (ASSAT), ERG HVAC Assessment Center, Inc. and Agusan del Sur College, Inc. For ASSAT, 4 qualifications were inspected: Cookery NC II, Automotive Servicing NC I/NC II and Trainers Methodology I. For ERG HVAC Assessment Center, Inc.: RAC Servicing (DomRAC) NC II and RAC Servicing (PACU-CRE) NC II. And lastly, for ADSCO: Health Care Services NC II, Massage Therapy NC II, Front Office Services NC II, Food and Beverage Services NC II, CSS NC II, Visual Graphic Design NC III and Bookkeeping NC II.

TESDA Caraga will continue to serve the community through quality TVET trainings amid the threat brought by COVID-19.
