Land Donation Agreement by LGU San Francisco, SDN and TESDA PTC-SDN

In a significant move to support education and skills development in Surigao del Norte, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Francisco, led by Municipal Mayor Val Pinat, has generously donated a 1,000-square-meter land parcel to the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Provincial Training Center. The official deed of donation was signed on July 17, 2023 at the Municipal Hall of San Francisco, Surigao del Norte.

The ceremony was attended by esteemed individuals, including Municipality Mayor Val Pinat and the LGU Officials as witnesses, Engr. Edwin C. Lanquino, REE, MM-PSM the head of TESDA Provincial Training Center Surigao del Norte and Senior TESDS Joseph B. Javier, Jr, TESDS I Mar Jhon G. Cabilis, also with Regional Director Jerry G. Tizon J.D, Provincial Director Catalina O. Tacubao, Supervising TESDS Buenafe G. Enaya. The presence of these key figures underscored the significance of the event and the commitment of both organizations towards fostering educational opportunities and promoting skills training within the province.

The generous land donation by the LGU of San Francisco will provide the TESDA Provincial Training Center - Surigao del Norte with a dedicated space to expand its facilities and offer a wider range of training programs. This initiative is expected to play a pivotal role in equipping individuals with the relevant skills and knowledge needed for gainful employment and economic empowerment.

With this, TESDA Caraga Regional Director Jerry G. Tizon, J.D., expressed heartfelt gratitude to the LGU of San Francisco for their invaluable donation. He stressed the significance of this new asset in expanding the training center's capabilities and enhancing its ability to serve the community.
