As part of the 29th Year Anniversary Celebration of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and โNational Tech-VocDayโ, TESDA Caraga joins the nationwide conduct of the World Cafรฉ of Opportunities (WCO) on August 25, 2023 starting at 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
The conduct of World Cafe of Opportunities is where all government agencies, LGUs, private and public education institutions, employers, private sector and industry associations are encouraged to engage and participate in the conduct of TVET-related activities.
This is in partnership with LGU Butuan under the leadership of Hon. Ronnie Vicente C. Lagnada, Butuan City Mayor duly represented by Hon. Cromwell Perez Nortega, Butuan City Councilor together with DOLE Caraga and PESO Caraga.
Republic Act No. 10970 or the National Tech-Voc Day institutionalized the celebration of the โNational Tech-VocDayโ every twenty-fifth of August of every year.ย This law encourages all government agencies, LGUs, private and public education institutions, employers, private sector and industry associations to engage and participate in the conduct of TVET-related activities to celebrate the National Tech-Voc Day.ย Thus, the week-long celebration of the TESDA 28th Year Anniversary is also our celebration of the National Tech-Voc Day.
