Press conference with dir. tarhata s. mapandi for the conduct of 2021 regional skills competition

BUTUAN CITY, OCTOBER 28, 2021 - TESDA Caraga under the leadership of Regional Director Tarhata S. Mapandi, CESO III holds press conference for the conduct of 2021 Regional Skills Competition anchored to the theme “Resilience through Skills Showmanship Amid Pandemic” held at TESDA Caraga Regional Office Conference Room.

Despite the ongoing threat brought by COVID-19, the agency believes that the conduct of the Regional Skills Competition is one of TESDA’s most effective social marketing and promotion strategies that elevate the Filipinos knowledge and awareness of technical vocational education as a viable career path. This inspires young people to be ambitious in their pursuit of skills excellence and to equip young people with the skills to help raise productivity.

TESDA Skill areas to be competed are the following: Cooking, Restaurant Service, Electrical Installation and Welding.
