PD Guillermo also presented the Municipal TVET Desk, an initiative of TESDA Agusan del Sur to ensure that TESDA services will be more accessible to all our clienteles and other sectors of the community. The soon to launch region wide TOSS (TESDA One Stop Services) will complement the TVET Desk and the BOSS (Business One Stop Shop) of every municipality in the Caraga region. This is part of TESDA Abot Lahat and Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Delivery of Government Services Act of 2018 (RA 11032), which provides the government agencies to counter “ineffective or detrimental” regulations that results into “slow, suboptimal, and undesirable social outcomes.”
Gov. Cane signified his full support to TESDA believing that the provision of quality skills training in the community or neighboring places in Agusan del Sur will be a solution in reducing poverty.
