On 29 August 2024 the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Batanes Provincial Office conducted a Training Induction Program (TIP), welcoming 20 interested participants for the qualification Driving NC II. The TIP aimed to orient scholars to the key aspects of their training journey, with a focus on the benefits of available scholarships and the responsibilities of participants.
Ms. Joanne T. Villa, Administrative Officer IV of TESDA PO Batanes facilitated the orientation. She emphasized the importance of scholarship training program and the commitment of TESDA to fostering skill development.
Throughout the program, the participants engaged in interactive sessions where the benefits of scholarships were thoroughly discussed. The TIP also provided an overview of the financial support and opportunities available to the trainees, ensuring they can focus on their training without financial burden.
Additionally, the responsibilities of participants were clearly outlined. This included maintaining consistent attendance, actively participating in all training activities, and upholding the standards set by TESDA. The trainees were reminded that their dedication and hard work would not only contribute to their personal growth but also to the development of their communities.
The orientation concluded with a commitment from all attendees to strive for excellence and make the most of the opportunities presented to them. The Training Induction Program successfully set the stage for a productive and enriching training period ahead
