I have my bachelor's degree in Family Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. After three years of working in human services, I made a career change to work in higher education at my local community college. I have been with the college for almost two years, starting in the Admissions department before moving to the Student Development side. 

I am passionate about student equity and experience. My experience in human services has aided me in pursuing this equity, learning firsthand about community resources and seeing the inequities that students may face at home. My goal is always to elevate the student experience both in and outside the classroom.
