I'm grateful you're here and exploring ways you can support yourself. I work with folks ages 10 and up, using a relational approach rooted in honoring each person’s full, complex self. I aim to create a flexible, collaborative space where you can unmask, explore what matters to you, and feel safe in your authenticity.
I support people navigating a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, identity-based stress and trauma, neurodivergence, and relational or attachment wounds. My work is grounded in anti-oppressive and neurodivergent-affirming practices, and guided by disability justice principles.
While talking is always welcome, sessions with me might also include making art, listening to music, using play-based approaches, or taking a mindful walk outside. I value curiosity, self-compassion, and autonomy as tools for healing.
My approaches are informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), experiential and somatic practices, and Parts Work.
As a white, queer, neurodivergent, middle-income, and able-bodied clinician, I hold awareness of how my identities shape the space, and I am committed to respecting and affirming the intersectional experiences each person brings.
I’m currently a Clinical Social Work Candidate and hold a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Outside the therapy room, I love impromptu dance parties, paranormal stories, supporting local queer artists, making music, and doing both the mundane and the magical with people I love.
I feel gooey (positive connotation) gratitude to have the opportunity to walk alongside you in practicing self-compassion, processing past and present experiences, and connecting to your inner world. Vulnerability in therapy can feel awkward and intimidating at times and I hope that we can honor the work it takes to show up for yourself.
I typically work with folks 13 and up around familial trauma, identity within the context of different systems, depression, and anxiety. My approaches tend to integrate somatic and art based interventions, play, and values exploration. The theories I pull from include person-centered, narrative therapy, and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). I work to hold the magic, heaviness, joy, and silliness that comes up through self-exploration.
My own values include authenticity, collectivism, curiosity, and equity. Identities that inform my own understanding of myself and the world include being Chinese, Venezuelan, American, genderqueer, polyamorous, an older sibling, able-bodied, and middle-income. I work to hold an awareness of my own lenses and a commitment to honor your own intersectionalities.
I am currently an LPCC and have my master’s in counseling from UW-Madison. I have experience in non-profits, private practice, wilderness therapy, case management, and parent education. Beyond my professional self, I enjoy yoga, generally stinky activities like hiking and camping, doing puzzles, playing with plants, and giving affirmations to my cat.
