What is a Movement Snack

A movement snack is a short break from doing school work in which we do a little bit of movement or exercise. It helps to keep the body healthy and gives our brain an important break from studying and homework.

Why do it?

Science has shown that exercise helps to improve our memory, focus and creativity. It helps us stay alert and relieves stress. Basically it makes us better learners.

How?

There are no rules here. If you are studying at home and you feel like you need to move around, it is probably time for a movement snack. You can click on one of the videos below or you can just do whatever movement n you like. The point is to move your body for a 1-5 minutes. Find a place to do your movement and just do it.

For example: stretches, star jumps, dancing etc.
