Assignments

This course is based on a 1,000-point scale rather than percentages or grade categories.  This means that you can earn up to 1,000 points throughout the semester and that all points are equal.  To receive an "A" in this course, you must earn 900-1,000 total points; to receive a "B," you must earn 800 to 899 total points; to receive a "C," you must earn 700 to 799 total points; to receive a "D," you must earn 600 to 699. At any point in the semester, you can determine how many points you still need to acquire to earn the grade you want to receive in this course. But keep in mind that some assignments are worth more points than others, so please plan accordingly.
