TUESDAY, APRIL 28th -- last day to ETCH/PROCESS/DEVELOP/COAT SCREEN

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29th -- last day to PRINT
The studio will be open for monitored hours (see hours postings)
● Prep for clean-up day: etch is removed, etching grounds removed
● Prep for clean-up day: scoop coaters soaking in remover, emulsion put away
● LAST DAY TO PRINT
THURSDAY, April 30th -– CLEAN UP DAY 9am-noon
● SIGN UP for a time BEFORE clean-up day—one hour shift for each printmaking class taken
● SIGN-UP is in hallway between screen printing and gallery with one sign-up sheet per class
● SEE Dawn (BEFORE April 29th) if you need to arrange an alternate cleaning time
● BRING your gloves
FRIDAY, MAY 1st – last day
Studio will be open during the day (see postings) for any final business – ie portfolio pick-up, flat file clear-out, etc..
● Flat file drawers AND lockers must be cleared out by end of the day
● Everything left behind in drawers, lockers, and out in the studio will be trashed after this day.
● Last day to reclaim screens
● Last day to grain stones
May 4th – May 8th – graduation week
· The studio will be open sporadically for university business as commencement obligations will limit staffing.
· Any business hours will be posted, no monitored hours/open studio use
Grading ends Friday, May 8th
● Studio will then be closed for general access
● Printmaking grads will have access/use of studio per School, Department, and Program parameters.
FYI – YOUR STUFF SITTING OUT IN THE STUDIO
● All items not in drawers, lockers, or other storage will be pushed into the gallery area for pick-up.
● Trash after May 1st

● All storage (files, lockers, screen racks) be cleared out by 3:00pm, Friday, May 1st.
● Anything remaining is destined for the dumpster.
FYI – YOUR SCREENS
● Reclaim by the end of Friday, May 1st.
● No reclaiming during Clean-Up hours.
● Screen storage will only be for students enrolled in fall classes
● SIGN UP ON “DON’T TOUCH MY SCREEN” LIST SO YOUR SCREEN DOES NOT BECOME TRASH.
● There are no assurances that screens will be 100% safe over break.
● Screens without a name or not on the list will not be here in the fall.

● Door codes will be deactivated after Clean-Up at 3PM, Thursday, April 30th.
